Blanchard & Company Review

Blanchard & Company

The gold market has consistently rose in the past 25 years, and it continues to hit new high levels. As the economy is currently less stable than than the gold market, many people are looking to invest their retirement funds into a gold IRA rollover, as a more safer and stable option. They also offer to purchase coins, bullion and other products on behalf of the owner of the Individual Retirement Account (IRA).
We have reviewed Blanchard and Company as one of the businesses that offers the above services. Below, we have compiled information from various sources to show you a more true representation of the company.

Better Business Bureau

Blanchard and Company BBB

1 complaint closed with BBB in last 3 years | 0 closed in last 12 months
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has been around for a long time as a consumer protection agency. One can file a complaint with the BBB and have a greater chance of the issue being resolved, as otherwise it portrays the company in a bad light as the complaint is open for other consumers to see. Blanchard and Company has had 1 complaint within the last 3 years. You may think that 1 complaint isn’t that much however that is only people who have complained to the BBB and as you can imagine many others wouldn’t know to complain to them. There are also many other companies with less complaints than them, so why would you risk your retirement fund with a company that doesn’t have a clean record?

Ripoff Report
Using Ripoff Report we managed to find several complaints against Blanchard and Company. Many of these complaints were regarding the overcharging of the gold that they sell as well as many different hidden fees that consumers weren’t aware of.
The internet is a great way to find reviews of companies that you are interested in using before you choose to do business. When choosing a gold IRA company it is extremely important to choose a trusted company as it really will save you money in the long run. One complaint that we found was by a customer of Blanchard and Company who was told to purchase $2,400 worth of gold coins. He let the associate choose what to buy, as he thought he knew what was best. Later on, the customer tried to sell the coins back to Blanchard and Company and was offered half of what he paid. After he did some more research he realised that the coins were not worth what he paid for them.
We also found another complaint regarding the exact same scenario as the complaint above. When he used Blanchard and Company, they asked him whether he had any experience in the gold market. After answering no to that question, he was lead to pay more for coins than what they were worth. He complained by writing letters and never received a reply.

There Is Some Praise

There are many people that praise Blanchard and Company online, however there are some blemishes in their record. There are reviews saying that the sales team is honest and trustworthy yet there are also conflicting reviews.

Our Conclusion

When choosing a gold IRA company, it is very important to get it right. When investing large amounts of money, choosing the wrong company can be risky. That is why we recommend looking at other companies first and using that information to make an informative decision.
