Guidant Financial Company Review

Many people are looking to invest their hard earned retirement funds into gold. Gold and other precious metals have proven to be a more stable investment with high potential returns. Many people choose to rollover their 401(k) into a gold IRA (Individual Retirement Account). As many people are choosing to do this in these economically difficult times, many companies have popped up to accommodate these needs.
We have reviewed Guidant Financial as a company that provides these services. We have taken information from various sources and have organised it for you below.

Better Business Bureau

Guidant Financial BBB
8 complaints closed with BBB in last 3 years | 7 closed in last 12 months
We first took a look at the Better Business Bureau. Here, Guidant Financial holds an A+ rating. In order to obtain an A+ rating, a company must pay a fee and send off paperwork. This means that unless a company pays the fee, they will not be able to obtain the rating.
Guidant has had 8 complaints to the BBB in the past 3 years. We took a look at these complaints, and found that 5 of the 8 were to do with the product and services that Guidant Financial provide. The other complaint stems from a billing and collection issue.
Please click the link above to read a significant complaint that was made against Guidant Financial. The company responded to the complaint on the BBB website, which is also worth reading.

Ripoff Report
We’ve next taken a complaint from Ripoff Report, which is one of the oldest websites on the world wide web (it was set up in 1998). Anyone can post on a company’s Ripoff Report page. As a result of this many honest reviews are posted here.
Here is a section of a particular complaint for you to read.
“On June 6th the company debited my account for 5K and I still have not received my money back (the money that should not have been debited in the first place). I’ve been informed at first that the funds would be credited back to my account and a few days later I was told that a check will be mailed today (on the 10th), then I was told that the check will not be mailed until the 20th, and finally yesterday I was informed that the check will be overnighted to me. Yesterday, I was provided with a tracking number for UPS and it is for 2nd day air.”
You can read the complaint by clicking the link above, as there is also a reply from Guidant Financial on there. It appears that the complaint has now been resolved. Although this has been resolved, we believe that it shows that customers have had problems with the company in the past.

It Isn’t All Bad

When looking into Guidant Financial’s history we found a few blemishes, however they must have a good client base to stay afloat as a company. We also found that the company has responded to public complaints which shows that at least they care about the way they are perceived on the internet. There are also many good reviews saying that the company provides a good service.

Our Conclusion

Although there are positive reviews, we can’t ignore the complaints we have read. When dealing with large sums of money, one should think wisely to protect themselves from financial difficulties in the future. Many complaints stem from poor service, overcharging customers and lack of physical product. When choosing to invest a 401(k) into a gold IRA, it is very important to choose the right company.
